A clear scoring rule
Does the copy answer the heading, or make people dig?
Answer Density checks the text directly below question-style H2 and H3 headings. It then orders the pages needing help so you can start with the clearest problems.
Direct answer
The first sentence makes a clear claim that answers the heading.
Buried answer
Setup, hedging, or filler delays the useful answer beneath the heading.
No direct answer
The first section does not give a clear answer within the checked text.
What does “not scored” mean?
Pages without a question-style H2 or H3 are left out of the average. They are not failures and do not lower the score. This keeps sales pages, checkout screens, and other non-question content from creating a fake penalty.
