Does this replace Yoast or Rank Math?

No. AEO God Mode detects whichever SEO plugin you use, imports your settings on install, and only activates features they don't cover. Your title tags, meta descriptions, and sitemaps stay exactly as they are.

Does the Citation Tracker actually check if AI engines are citing me?

Yes. It sends queries to Perplexity and ChatGPT based on your site's topics and checks whether your domain appears in the response. Real citation verification, not crawler log analysis.

What is AEO?

Answer Engine Optimization is the practice of structuring your content so AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude can find it, understand it, and cite it in their responses.

There are other llms.txt plugins. Why use this one?

Standalone llms.txt plugins generate a file in isolation. AEO God Mode connects llms.txt to your answer.json, sitemap.json, schema, and AI crawler log — so it works as part of a complete AEO system rather than a single disconnected file.

Will it slow my site down?

No. Schema and meta output is generated server-side as lightweight JSON-LD. The crawler log fires a single database write only when an AI bot is detected. Frontend overhead is a few meta tags and HTTP headers.
