Every AI metadata generation uses one credit. Credits cover the cost of the AI processing that analyzes your content and writes optimized metadata.
Monthly Credits by Plan
| Plan | Monthly Credits | Resets On |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 | 1st of each month |
| Pro | 500 | 1st of each month |
| Agency | 2,000 | 1st of each month |
Monthly credits reset automatically on the 1st of each month. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
Checking Your Balance
The credit widget at the top of the AI Metadata page shows:
- Credits remaining this month
- Monthly usage (used / total)
- bonus credits (from top-up purchases)
- Your current plan (Free, Pro, or Agency)
Credit Top-Up Packs
Need more credits than your monthly allowance? Purchase top-up packs:
| Pack | Credits | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 Credits | 1,000 | Small sites, burst usage |
| 2,500 Credits | 2,500 | Medium sites, quarterly batch runs |
| 10,000 Credits | 10,000 | Large sites, agency bulk work |
Top-up credits are added as bonus credits. They never expire and carry over month to month.
How Credits Are Consumed
The system uses your monthly credits first. Once those run out, it pulls from your bonus credits.
Here’s an example:
- You’re on Pro (500 monthly credits)
- You’ve used 495 this month
- You bought a 1,000-pack top-up
- You generate metadata for 10 posts
- Result: 5 come from monthly credits, 5 come from bonus credits
Free Tier Details
Free users get 5 credits per month tracked locally on your WordPress site. No server communication required. This lets you try the feature before upgrading.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do bonus credits expire?
No. Bonus credits from top-up purchases stay on your account until you use them. They carry over indefinitely.
Can I see my credit usage history?
Your usage is logged on the server. Contact support if you need a detailed breakdown of your credit consumption.
What counts as one credit?
One credit covers the full generation for one content item. That includes the meta title, meta description, and product description (when applicable). All three fields are generated in a single API call.
